In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
